ALERT: Non-Sports Post Below

Saw the new Oliver Stone movie 'W.' the other night. It was a unique look at George W Bush's life. The character actors did a really good job. In particular I was impressed with:
  • Richard Dreyfuss: he did an outstanding job as Dick Cheney.
  • James Cromwell: also quite impressive, as George H W Bush.
  • Josh Brolin: had W's mannerism's down perfectly, every wince, shrug, cackle, smirk, and gesture was precisely as W would have done it. Really really impressed.
Go see it! It will get you talking and thinking about George W Bush. If you are expecting the movie to trash Bush, or expecting some kind of political commentary, well, don't. It's a character analysis of George W Bush, life and times sort of thing.

Anyway, I dug it, it was really interesting. I'm glad I saw it.
